What we collect, why, who can see it and what you can do about it.
Who we are
The Center of Excellence platform is run by a private company in Qatar, working with government bodies and other organizations. Partners do not get access to your private information just because they are partners.
What we collect
- Your account details: name, email address, language and settings.
- What you choose to add: your profile, publications, posts and messages.
- Your activity: bookings, contracts, payments and the reports you make.
- Basic security records, such as sign-ins and devices, to protect your account.
We never require a photo, your age, your retirement status or bank details to read and contribute.
Why we use it
We use your information to run the platform, keep it safe, process payments, answer your questions and meet our legal duties.
Marketing emails, recordings, a public profile and optional AI features each need your separate permission. You can change these choices at any time.
Who can see your information
You choose who sees your profile and your publications. Private messages are seen only by the people in the conversation.
Organization requests, contracts and deliverables are seen only by the people working on them.
When our staff may look
Our staff do not read private messages or private content.
The only exception is when something has been reported. Then the staff member assigned to that case may open the reported item while the case is open. They must write down why, and every opening is recorded with their name and the time. Support staff never ask for your password.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted while it travels and while it is stored. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Access is limited to the people who need it, and privileged actions are recorded.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help run the platform, such as payment, email, file storage and webinar providers, under contract.
We plan to keep data in Qatar. Where a provider is elsewhere, we record where and why.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you close your account, your profile and contributions are withdrawn.
Contract and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires, with restricted access, and never appear in search.
Your rights
You can see and correct your information, download a copy of it, withdraw your permissions and ask us to close your account.
